Vector Actions · Last updated 2 October 2026
VectorXPro LLC makes Vector Actions, an iPhone app that turns what you say into a list of actions. The short version: Vector Actions collects nothing. It has no account, no server of ours and no analytics. Questions: support@vectorxpro.com.
What happens to what you say
- Speech is turned into text on your iPhone, by Apple's speech recognition. Nothing you say is sent to us.
- Sorting it into actions, steps and dates also happens on your iPhone, using Apple Intelligence (Apple's on-device Foundation Models).
- The first time you record, Apple may download its own speech model to your phone. That is between your iPhone and Apple; we receive nothing.
What the app stores, and where
Your actions, steps, categories and lists are stored only on your iPhone. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.
Permissions
| Permission | When it asks | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Microphone | The first time you record | To hear you while you talk |
| Speech recognition | The first time you record | To turn your voice into text, on the iPhone |
| Calendar | When you choose your calendar in setup, or the first time an action goes on it | To list your calendars by name so you can pick one, and to add actions to it with a reminder |
Events you add go into your own calendar: Apple (iCloud), Google or Outlook, whichever you choose. Vector Actions reaches Google and Outlook only through the calendar accounts you have added to your iPhone; it never signs in to Google or Microsoft and never sees your password. Your calendar syncs however you have set it up. We never see it, and the app never reads the events already in it.
Apple Notes and sharing
When you tap Send to Notes or the share button, iPhone's own share panel opens with your list as text, and you choose where it goes: Notes, Messages, Mail or anywhere else. It goes only where you send it. We never receive it.
Testing with TestFlight
While Vector Actions is in testing, Apple's TestFlight gives us the email address you were invited at, and any crash reports or feedback (screenshots and notes) you choose to send. We use them only to fix the app, and you can stop testing at any time in TestFlight.
What we don't do
No advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites, no selling of information, no analytics.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes. If the app ever starts sending anything off your iPhone, this page will say so before it does.
