Why this way
You pay for the people doing the work. Not for everyone they report to.
A 15-person shop puts everyone in the app. A 2,000-person plant might have 150 people walking areas and owning fixes. Charging that plant for 2,000 seats would be nonsense, and charging the small shop the same as the big one isn't fair either.
So the price follows the people who sign in. Managers who just get escalation emails, and anyone copied on an audit notice, never cost you a thing.
The details
Who counts as "signing in"?
Anyone with a Vector sign-in at that site: auditors, owners, site managers, admins. People who only receive emails (the escalation chain, audit notices, results) don't count.
What counts as a site?
One plant, facility or building, the thing your people would call "the Tulsa plant". Areas inside it are part of that site and cost nothing extra. Two plants is two sites.
What if we add or close a plant?
Your bill follows your active sites. Add a plant in Vector and it's billed from the next day, for just the rest of that billing period; close one and you're credited the same way. During the free trial nothing is charged either way.
What if we grow into the next band?
We'll tell you before anything changes, and you move up at the next billing date. No surprise charges, no back-billing.
What's the founding-plant offer?
30% off your band for your first two years, for a handful of plants. In return we ask for honest feedback, a reference call when you're happy, and permission to tell your story.
How does the free trial work?
Thirty days, with a card on file so it carries on by itself if you keep it. We send the payment link once your admin has signed in, so the trial covers a real walk: find something, give it to someone, watch them fix it, verify it.
Monthly or yearly?
Either. Yearly works out at two months free and is usually easier to get through purchasing on one PO.
How do we pay?
By card, through Stripe; we never see or store your card details. If purchasing needs an invoice and terms instead, say so and we'll sort it.
What happens if we stop paying?
You keep everything you've recorded. Every walk, photo and evidence pack stays readable and printable; you just can't start new work until you're back on. We won't hold your own proof hostage. An auditor may ask for last year's pack long after you've left us.
Is there a contract?
No lock-in. Cancel from your own billing page whenever you like, and it ends at the end of the period you've paid for.
Does onboarding cost extra?
Not for Small and Team: we set you up remotely, and the org-chart import and the starter programs keep it to hours, not weeks. Larger plants usually want help importing their own programs and running the first Formal audit together; we'll quote that with your price.
