Which of these is you?
I can't get in
Invitations, links that don't work, forgotten passwords, and "doesn't have Vector Project".
02Something isn't working right
Buttons that refuse, files that won't attach, work you can't see, dates that look wrong.
03My account, my company
Seats, roles, taking someone off a team, and closing an account.
04How do I…?
Every part of the app, step by step, with pictures, in the Help Center.
01
I can't get in
Vector Project is invite-only. Your company's admin invites you and gives you a seat; nobody can make an account for themselves.
I never got an invitation
It went to the exact address your admin typed, from notifications@vectorxpro.com.
- Search all your mail, not just the inbox, for Vector, including spam and the other tabs.
- Still nothing? Ask your admin to check the address and send it again (Settings → People).
The invitation link says it has expired
The link and the code in the email work once, within 24 hours; the invitation itself stays open for 14 days. Sending it again replaces the earlier link, so always use the newest email.
I signed in and it says I don't have Vector Project
Your account exists, but your company hasn't given you a Vector Project seat yet, or the invitation went to a different address from the one you signed in with. Ask your admin to give you a seat, and tell them which address you use.
I've forgotten my password
Vector Project uses the same Vector account as the other Vector apps. In a Vector iPhone app, tap Forgot Password? on the sign-in screen and follow the email. Resetting it from the website is coming; until then, if you have no Vector app, write to us.

Something isn't working right
A button refused, with a reason
Vector checks the rules every time, and when it says no it says why, in plain words. The most common ones are on purpose:
- Nobody signs their own work. Pick someone else to validate or review it.
- Only the owner answers a request, starts, ticks the definition of done and submits.
- Submitting needs the work attached and every checklist item met.
- A signed version is locked. Add a new version instead; it needs new signatures.
- On hold, nothing starts the clock: no new work, nobody starts, and no dates are accepted or moved until the lead resumes.
A file won't attach
Each file can be up to 50 MB. Files are added by the owner while the work is accepted and not yet signed off. Adding a file to submitted work takes it back to In progress, so it can be signed again.
I can't see a project, or someone's work
You see the projects you're on. Managers see the projects their people are on, and leadership sees every project. If you should be on a team, ask its lead or your admin to add you.
The page looks out of date
When we release a new version, the app shows a bar: "A new version of Vector Project is ready." Reload to use it. ↻ Reload at the top reads the latest from Vector.
A date looks wrong
Forecast dates are calculated, not typed: from each owner's promised date and working time, and from when the work they're waiting on is verified. A late input moves everything after it, and the page shows how many days were inherited and from where. A project on hold shows its open dates moved by the days on hold so far. Today's date is counted in US Central time.

My account, my company
Seats and roles
Everyone who signs in to Vector Project uses a seat. Company admins invite people, give and end seats, and name leadership and who looks after the phase templates, in Settings → People. Need more seats? Write to us.
Taking someone off a team
Someone who still owes or signs open work stays on until that work is verified, withdrawn or passed to someone else; the project's Team shows what keeps them on. The lead can't come off the team.
Deleting an account, or closing a company
Write to support@vectorxpro.com and we'll deal with it with your company. The record is built to be trusted, so names stay on the work already signed; our privacy policy explains exactly what is kept and why.
Step by step
The Help Center explains every screen
It is in the app under Settings → Help, and the same articles are here on the web:
Print and keep
Things you can put in somebody's hand
The quick card is the one worth printing. It is the size of a postcard, folds once, and answers the two questions everyone on a project asks: what do I do with this request, and how do I get it signed.
Still stuck?
Tell us what you were doing and what happened. A person reads every message.
